What's the deal with young celebrities trying to look older? My guess is they want to look more womanly and sofisticaded, classy, but they've been constantly getting it all wrong. Take Jessica Simpson last night at Late Night with David Letterman. I know Jessica is not a size zero and I think that's no problem at all, but she chose the wrong dress and wrong shoes to accentuate her curves in a subtle manner. This L'Wren Scott dress is not flattering her at all: It's too long and the cleavage makes her chest look too big and square. The shoes? They're too heavy and make her look short.

I read that almost all the outfits were custom made for the video, and still haven't found make-up credits, but I have my hints on the lipsticks...

That dark red lipstick, to me, can only be M.A.C.'s Media, and the pink one on Beyoncé looks a lot like Show Orchid. Gaga's pink lipstick got me mixed, I think it can be Show Orchid mixed with a lighter shade, like Pink Nouveau, though sometimes it seems very lilac, so it might have a hint of Up the Amp and even Violetta, all by M.A.C.. 

Amy Winehouse is known for her troubled personal life, amazing voice and unique style. And now, at least her style might be up for sale: The singer is launching a clothing collection in collaboration with also British label Fred Perry. “Amy has been wearing Fred Perry for years, so we were aware she was a genuine fan of the brand,” said Richard Martin, Fred Perry’s marketing director to WWD. “Amy has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand’s own historical reference points.” I can't wait to see these sketches in real life, they look very girly and true to her trademark - note the beehive?

 Now it's official: Lindsay Lohan's out of Ungaro. Last Monday, at Ungaro's fashion show in Paris, Lindsay was nowhere to be seen, but Asim Abdullah, who owns Ungaro, declared that the actress had no involvement whatsoever in this upcoming collection. Now Lindsay herself affirmed she's not working for Ungaro anymore: "There's some legal stuff going on, so I can't talk much", said Lohan, who might not be working with Ungaro anymore, but is still present at every designer's fashion show in Paris. The question is... Why?

Pink lips were all the frenzy at last Sunday's Oscar. This time, the matte is out and shine is in. Sandra Bullock had Rouge Coco Paris - which seems very red in person, but on the pictures looks very pink - and Maggie Gyllenhaal wore my favourite lipstick ever, Nars Schiap. It's as pink as it can get, but it's very matte, so pair it with lipgloss and you're all set.

But there was no one looking better than Zoe Saldana. She chose the perfect dress for the perfect occasion.  I've been in love with this Givenchy dress ever since the first time I saw it on the runway, it's unbelievable. She is my best dressed not only of the night, but of the entire Oscar history.

 Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Lopez strutted down the Red Carpet last night in gorgeous Armani Privé gowns. The dresses' movement were very alike and both were made of the same fabric, that Ryan Seacrest defined as "Avatar-esque". I am still trying to see why.
