So we have had a few events, and at every one I have had a few of you where we got our pens! Well I made them, and thought that you girls would like to see how
First The Supplies!
A Pen (one that DOES NOT click), A Pretty Silk Flower, Floral Tape (sometimes called Floral Stem Wrapping Tape), Pretty Ribbon, Scissors, and Wire Cutters, (you may also need hot glue or super glue)
Once you have you supplies together you need to measure the stem and make marks where you would like the pen to go:
(make sure that there is some stem left above the top of the pen)
With the scissors, cut the plastic part of the stem where you made the marks:
Next cut through the wire at the botom mark ONLY and then (starting at the end) remove the outer plastic up to the top mark:
Place the pen next to the stem and wrap both in the Floral Tape:
Wrap in ribbon and you are DONE!!
You may need to secure the end of the ribbon with super glue or hot glue to make it stay!
